2. What data we collect and why
Contact form
When you fill in our contact or review request form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), business name, and the details of your enquiry. We use this to respond to your message and, if appropriate, to follow up about our services.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). Responding to a direct enquiry is a mutual legitimate interest; it is what you contacted us for.
Analytics
We may add website analytics in future to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on site, referral source). If we do, this policy will be updated before any tracking is active, and where required we will obtain your consent via a cookie notice.
Cookies
This website currently uses no tracking or advertising cookies. We may use a session cookie to support form functionality. No cookie is used to identify you across other websites.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry or service request.
- To provide the services you have asked about or engaged us for.
- To send you relevant follow-up information where you have expressed interest.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be processed by:
- Cloudflare (website hosting and form processing) under a data processing agreement.
- Our email provider, solely to receive and respond to your message.
All processors are subject to equivalent data protection obligations.
5. How long we keep your data
Enquiry and client correspondence is kept for up to 3 years after the end of any business relationship, to allow us to handle any follow-up queries or disputes. Data no longer needed is securely deleted.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data where there is no legitimate reason to keep it.
- Restrict processing in certain circumstances.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Data portability where processing is based on consent or contract.
